MyWayHighWay

Fremantle is home to an array of hamburger shops. Whether you are looking for a gourmet burger such as those available from venues as ‘Gourmet on Wrays’ and ‘Missy Moos’ to the franchise ‘Jus Burgers’, or if you are searching for a late night grease fest like those from Captain Munchies or Hungry Jacks, Fremantle caters to your needs. None of these places however can boast of having the ability to move whenever and wherever the customer base does.  Local food truck ‘MyWayHighWay’ however can. A restaurant on wheels, claiming to be “the best trucking food in town”, MyWayHighWay offers a range of different foods with hamburgers taking up the majority of the space on the menu boards. The choice of burgers varies but all are very affordable, especially considering they are cheaper then burgers from most of the venues mentioned above. The burgers live up to the hype of the being the “best trucking food in town”. They are large enough to satisfy the hunger pains and full of fresh salads. Aside form burgers, the van also offers stand-alone salads, Spanish style churros and pasta.

Being a sucker for chocolate milkshakes, whenever I see one on a menu I always have to taste it. I am constantly disappointed however as they never live up to my expectations. I am happy to report that I have found the best chocolate milkshake I have ever had.  You can be sure I will be chasing down this food van every time I am craving a chocolate milkshake.

As with most food vans I have come across the online presence for MyWayHighWay focuses mainly on Facebook. Details of where the van will be and when are available as are a few photos of what the van looks like, menus and some of the food available. I found the van parked on the lawn down at South Beach where it is usually located, however it can be found in other places as once again, he has the power to follow the customer base.
